Black Women Matter
The Black Women Matter: A Retreat is a space that serves to provide a sense of community, an opportunity for healing, and a time for celebrating Black Women who are a part of md传媒国产剧 College.
CARE Week
Every year, the WC holds Concerned About Rape Education (CARE) Week during the spring semester to raise awareness about sexual assault and intimate partner violence on and off campus.
Dish
Dish is an open monthly dinner offering students the opportunity to discuss the intersections of race, gender, gender identity, sexuality, class, etc., both at md传媒国产剧 College and in the greater world.
Bystander Intervention
This sexual assault prevention program focuses on the importance of prosocial bystander behaviors and empowers students to stand up and speak out to prevent rape and sexual assault.
Res Hall Talks
Res Hall Talks are interactive outlets for students to share their views on relationships, friendships, safety, body image, career planning, and other issues.
Rise
Rise is a mentor program that matches small groups of women from the senior class with female faculty and staff members to challenge perceived cultural and social norms that affect women's sense of self.
Sexual Assault Network
The md传媒国产剧 College Sexual Assault Network connects those who have been directly or indirectly affected by sexual violence and/or intimate partner violence with sources of support.
Women's Summit
The Women's Summit empowers attendees by connecting them with a community of classmates, speakers, and guests, and by creating a space in which to have meaningful conversations and share game-changing ideas.
