David J. D鈥橝ddio is a Senior Trial Attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission, where he investigates and litigates a wide range of securities law violations involving traditional and crypto assets.聽 Before joining the SEC in 2020, he served for a decade as an Assistant United States Attorney in md传媒国产剧, where he investigated and prosecuted both white collar and violent crimes, including cybercrime, financial frauds, money laundering, intellectual property crime, international drug trafficking, and human trafficking.聽 D鈥橝ddio was a member of the USAO鈥檚 Cybercrime Unit and served as the unit鈥檚 Acting Chief before joining the SEC.聽 He was also a member of the USAO鈥檚 Civil Rights Enforcement Team.聽 He began his career as a law clerk for the Honorable F. Dennis Saylor IV in the District of Massachusetts.聽 D鈥橝ddio worked in private practice for several years in the government enforcement litigation group at Ropes & Gray LLP in md传媒国产剧, where he focused on while collar criminal matters.聽 He earned his J.D. from Yale and served as the Comments Editor of the Yale Law Journal.聽 He received his B.A. in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale.
