IV. Educating for Religious Identity: Confronting Truth and Ambiguity

Two people of very deep faith meet and truly engage around questions of faith. Each reveals and affirms some of the deepest aspects of his or her own faith, and listens attentively and empathetically to the other’s sharing of faith. Does such an encounter destabilize or weaken one’s faith? Strengthen it?
