“In my mind, though, nothing is more expressive of TML than this brutalist building in which we stand. Mirroring TML鈥檚 own gritty history as a startup, this rough, stark, potentially alienating place with its many imperfections gradually wins hearts through the stunning geometry of its design and the powerful counterbalance of its windows which magnanimously invite the outside in, softening the sharper contours of the concrete. This suggests to me a place of inclusion; a place that understands limitations and flaws; a place of embrace; a place within which the beloved community gathers to work, study, socialize, play, and reflect.”
