Katie Teague, MSW, is a part-time faculty member at md´«Ã½¹ú²ú¾ç College School of Social Work where she teaches Basic Skills in Macro Practice. She earned her MSW from md´«Ã½¹ú²ú¾ç College and a BS from the University of New Hampshire.
Serving the vibrant communities of greater md´«Ã½¹ú²ú¾ç, Katie is the Manager of Health Education and Access programs at the Cambridge Health Alliance. She leads a robust Community Health Worker (CHW) training program, as well as a range of cross-departmental initiatives focused on addressing social influencers of health and advancing health equity. By learning from and training CHWs, Katie meets individuals and communities where they are at to provide culturally responsive health outreach and education.
Katie’s systemic approach to social work is rooted in the importance of trust and relationship building. Working closely with community and faith-based leaders, Katie strives to bring local and state entities together to create change that is by and for the community.
