Team celebrating their win

Jenks Class of 2019 alum Richard Jove ’20 facilitated the business competition on campus last fall, where students from md´«Ã½¹ú²ú¾ç Latin Academy (BLA) designed a new product for Apple. md´«Ã½¹ú²ú¾ç College student volunteers (many from the Investment Club) coached BLA students on marketing, financing, and strategy before helping them pitch their ideas to live judges. BLA students reported that the favorite part of their experience was working with the coaches to develop new ideas, and the ability to practice their presentation skills. Students also reported that the experience has made an impact on what they want to study when they go to college.

Jenks 2020

Twenty-six students were accepted to the Jenks Class of 2021, representing 13 states, China, and Singapore. The new class will be led by 2019 Joseph G. Bonito Servant Leadership Award recipient Claire Greydanus '21 and Marcello Garber ’21, who will be presenting his service project with his team at the Class of 2020 graduation in April.

Jenks students had a jolly time ringing in the holiday season with a mixer in Barat House (Newton campus) playing games and decorating cookies.
