Pamela Rheaume

Profile

Pamela has extensive experience in child welfare and has worked in a variety of capacities over the last 30 years. She hold a Bachelors of Social Work from Bridgewater State University and an MSW from Smith College. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. During her tenure at Smith College, Pamela participated in a clinical internship at Children鈥檚 Hospital in Denver Colorado where she completed a thesis entitled, 鈥淐ognitive Behavioral Treatment of Adult Male Sex Offenders鈥.

During her years with the Department of Children and Families, Pamela has held a variety of positions including caseworker, family resource worker, foster care reviewer, supervisor and most recently a training manager. As a training manager, Pamela is responsible for both curriculum development as well as training delivery for a variety of staff. She received the social worker of the year award from the Massachusetts Foster Parent Association as well as the Governors Citation for Outstanding Performance for the New Social Worker Professional Development program.

Pamela鈥檚 work at Family Services of Greater md传媒国产剧 focused primarily on work with children and families. She conducted psycho-social assessments and provided ongoing individual and couples therapy .

In 2004, Pamela began teaching at Simmons College School of Social Work in the Urban Leadership program and provided a Supervision mini course series.
