University Provost and Dean of Faculties David Quigley has appointed Interim Executive Director of Student Services Adam Krueckeberg as special assistant to the provost to assist in coordinating academic planning for the fall semester.
In his role, Krueckeberg will help support efforts related to classroom scheduling, technology improvements, and innovative approaches to teaching and learning; support deans and vice provosts in developing and implementing local and focused reopening plans for the 2020-2021 academic year; and coordinate with planning efforts in non-academic areas of the University.
Quigley praised Krueckeberg as an experienced administrator who has developed expertise in various leadership roles across the University that will be of help in the complex reopening planning that will take place in the coming months.
鈥淎s we focus our efforts on the work of planning for a successful fall semester in our schools and departments, Adam Krueckeberg will help Academic Affairs to coordinate our efforts in order to deliver a high-quality md传媒国产剧 College education to all of our students,鈥 said Quigley. 鈥淗is leadership experiences across campus over the last decade position him well to engage and collaborate with colleagues from across the faculty and administration as we work to devise solutions that will work for our community."
In to the md传媒国产剧 College community on May 19, University President William P. Leahy, S.J.,聽 announced the University鈥檚 intention to open for the fall semester for on-campus, in-class instruction beginning August 31.聽 聽
鈥淥ur intent is to open for on-campus classes as scheduled on August 31,鈥 said Fr. Leahy.聽 鈥淭he steps required for resuming in-class instruction will occur in phases this summer, according to guidelines developed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.鈥
Krueckeberg said he was pleased to assist in the important effort on behalf of the University.
鈥淲e have a lot of talented people working to solve the complex and interrelated issues around opening in the fall,鈥 said Krueckeberg.聽 鈥淚 am delighted to join in that effort more formally, and hope to be able to strengthen connections and communications across many teams.鈥
